The shipping costs also include a handling fee, padded envelope
and any other packaging materials deemed necessary to ensure the items safe
delivery.
We only supply to destinations in the UK.
We hope to despatch all orders within 24-48 hours of payment
being received. If there will be a delay in this we will contact you stating
the reason.
Returns, Refunds and Exchanges
We want all our customers to be happy with their purchases and in cases
where a problem occurs will exchange, refund or replace items.
If an item is found to be faulty, please e-mail us to advise us within
7 days of receipt of the item, if the fault occurred during transit, we will
require that the item is returned to us, we will then issue a full refund
including shipping costs and will claim the relevant costs from Royal Mail.
If the fault was ours we will require you to return the item to us and
will either replace the item, offer a full refund or will exchange the item
for an alternative up to the same value . Where the fault is ours a full
refund will include postage costs including the return postage costs incurred
by the customer. We will bear the costs of postage in respect of a replacement
or exchanged item and will refund your return postage costs. In the case
of a replacement or exchange, original postage costs will not be refunded.
In all cases where you wish to have an item refunded or replaced due to
a fault in the item you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the order.
Exchanges and refunds on non-faulty items are accepted as a good-will
gesture provided you e-mail us within 7 days of receipt of the order. In
these cases the customer will be responsible for return postage costs of
the item, and in the case of a refund this will not include postage costs
paid. We will exchange items up to the value of those ordered not including
shipping costs.
Exclusions: Please note certain items cannot be returned, unless Sweet Clementine is at fault. These are personalised or engraved items and pierced jewellery. This includes earrings which come as part of a set.
We cannot refund, replace
or exchange any items posted to us that we do not receive – it is the customers
responsibility to ensure that a proof of postage is obtained and in cases
where the item is not delivered it will be the customers responsibility
to claim the costs involved back from Royal Mail.
We observe and apply all legal obligations in respect of internet transactions
and will be bound by any obligations relating to refunds and exchanges.
